Walker wants to ban wind power

A Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel op-ed asks why Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker proposed a law that would make it nearly impossible to site wind energy projects in the state.

The op-ed, titled "Wind power ban is a jobs killer," says the proposal is part of a special bill submitted by Walker. The author calls it "one of the most perplexing proposals in the package."

There's nothing perplexing about it. As ThinkProgress has pointed out, dirty-energy company Koch Industries
...is a major player in Wisconsin: Koch owns a coal company subsidiary with facilities in Green Bay, Manitowoc, Ashland and Sheboygan; six timber plants throughout the state; and a large network of pipelines in Wisconsin.
Can you say, "Koch whore?"
